Role

Azim Premji University’s SCE-URC seeks an accomplished educator to design and deliver capacity development programmes in gender for civil society and government stakeholders. This role blends curriculum design, training, and collaborative work with a focus on advancing gender equity among adolescent girls, youth, and frontline functionaries.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality training programmes and curricula tailored to diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with experts and visiting faculty to co-create learning experiences.
  • Lead capacity building, including workshops and short courses, especially for CSOs working with girls and youth.
  • Monitor training impact and foster communities of practice.
  • Contribute to SCE-URC’s wider capacity development efforts and create new course offerings.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Gender Studies or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in training, curriculum development, and capacity building.
  • Ability to conduct programmes in both English and Hindi.
  • Strong critical thinking, reflection, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work collaboratively in teams.
  • Desirable: Experience working with adolescent girls/youth in rural India; networks within CSOs; experience with government sectors.
