Role
Azim Premji University’s SCE-URC seeks an accomplished educator to design and deliver capacity development programmes in gender for civil society and government stakeholders. This role blends curriculum design, training, and collaborative work with a focus on advancing gender equity among adolescent girls, youth, and frontline functionaries.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality training programmes and curricula tailored to diverse stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with experts and visiting faculty to co-create learning experiences.
- Lead capacity building, including workshops and short courses, especially for CSOs working with girls and youth.
- Monitor training impact and foster communities of practice.
- Contribute to SCE-URC’s wider capacity development efforts and create new course offerings.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Gender Studies or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in training, curriculum development, and capacity building.
- Ability to conduct programmes in both English and Hindi.
- Strong critical thinking, reflection, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work collaboratively in teams.
- Desirable: Experience working with adolescent girls/youth in rural India; networks within CSOs; experience with government sectors.
