Role
This is a full-time on-site Fellowship Opportunity in Strategic Finance. Based out of Bangalore, the Fellow - Strategic Finance will be responsible for analyzing financial data (current and historical), developing systems to track trends and insights, and supporting in financial reporting. Through this fellowship, the Fellow will have an opportunity to understand trends and insights related to the social impact sector and will be mentored by senior leaders. They will get to use their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data in a practical setting, and then relate it to potential sectoral trends and issues. The fellow will have the opportunity to create new systems and dashboards using insights.
Fellowship Duration: 6months - 1 year
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations
- Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
- Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
- Communicate financial insights to the leadership team
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or any professional degree
- 1-2 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP Systems
- Strong Analytical Skills and experience with Financial Statements
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
