Role
As a Fellowship Recruitment Intern at Teach For India, the role focuses on directly engaging with and supporting candidates interested in joining the Fellowship. Interns act as essential connectors between applicants and the organisation, ensuring a smooth, motivating selection experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential Fellowship candidates through regular calls and in-person interactions
- Motivate and inform candidates at each step to encourage application and acceptance of offers
- Provide operational support for every phase of the selection process
- Consistently monitor and record candidate progress using organisational systems
- Build effective, supportive relationships with applicants to foster trust and commitment
Requirements
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Comfortable with regular phone-based outreach
- Ability to manage backend administrative/support operations
