Role

Buzz Women is hiring a Finance & Admin Manager to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance, coordinate audits, oversee procurement and assets, and support finance administration across programmes and districts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor budgets and financial reports for internal teams and donors.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounts using Tally Prime.
  • Manage monthly payroll processing, reimbursements, and review vouchers and bills.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports and customised donor reports.
  • Draft financial statements and ensure accurate grant utilisation reporting.
  • Coordinate with programme teams to ensure fund usage aligns with approved budgets.
  • Ensure timely filing of TDS, PT, PF, ESI, Gratuity, GST, Income Tax, and FCRA returns.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance and administration team.
  • Train programme and field teams on financial procedures and compliance.
  • Lead internal, statutory, and donor audits, providing all required documentation.
  • Oversee procurement processes, quotations, vendor coordination, and pricing.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensure asset tagging, and manage stock records.
  • Oversee administration of the head office and district offices, including vehicles and logistics.
  • Ensure adherence to organisational SOPs and maintain financial integrity across locations.

Requirements

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and administration, preferably in the development sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, Indian accounting standards, and non-profit compliance.
  • Experience with TDS, EPF, ESI, PT, Income Tax, and FCRA requirements.
  • Experience handling statutory and donor audits.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Ability to maintain accurate asset and stock records.
  • Strong documentation, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Kannada is mandatory.
  • High integrity, ownership, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
