Role
As a Volunteer Grant Writer, you will use your writing skills to help NCT secure the funding needed for our community projects. You will turn our mission into powerful stories and proposals that inspire donors to support our work.
Responsibilities
- Write clear and persuasive grant proposals for foundations, companies, and government offices.
- Research new funding opportunities and create strategies to reach out to potential donors.
- Work closely with NCT’s Founder to gather the facts and data needed for strong applications.
- Help manage donor relationships and assist in telling the organization's story to a global audience.
- Ensure all sensitive organizational information is kept confidential.
Requirements
- Proven experience in grant writing (please provide details of your past work).
- Excellent written communication skills and fluency in English.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently from your own computer and phone.
- A commitment to working with marginalized communities and a passion for social justice.
- Strong networking and communication skills to help build donor interest.
