Role
This is a strategic leadership position responsible for the backbone of the organization: Administration, IT, and Procurement. You will build and strengthen the systems that allow program teams to deliver critical health interventions smoothly across multiple districts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative operations across all offices to ensure facilities and support services function without interruption.
- Manage the fleet of field vehicles by monitoring vendor performance, safety compliance, and maintenance schedules.
- Lead procurement processes to ensure they are cost effective and aligned with donor guidelines.
- Maintain strong vendor management systems, conducting periodic reviews of performance and contracts.
- Update and refine standard operating procedures and internal control mechanisms for admin and procurement.
- Provide oversight to IT operations, ensuring systems are secure and user friendly.
- Guide the adoption of digital tools that improve organizational productivity and data security.
- Mentor the Admin and IT teams to ensure high quality delivery and a culture of accountability.
- Manage annual planning and budgeting for your functions.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience leading administrative functions in medium or large organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in facility management, vehicle fleet oversight, and procurement.
- Ability to design and strengthen operational systems and processes with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
