CASHPOR Micro Credit is a not-for-profit NBFC-MFI dedicated to poverty alleviation. It provides microfinance, health, and education services to rural women living below the poverty line (BPL) across Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Bihar. Through 780 branches and Joint Liability Groups (JLGs), CASHPOR serves over 1.2 million beneficiaries, offering loans via owned funds and partnerships with major banks like IndusInd, IDBI, ICICI, and Kotak Mahindra, as well as under the SIDBI PRAYAS Scheme. About the Role
As the Head of Software Development, you will lead and manage our software engineering team to deliver high-quality software solutions within strict deadlines. You’ll be responsible for setting the technical direction of projects, ensuring audit compliance, and overseeing the software development lifecycle. This role demands a mix of technical expertise, leadership, and strong project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage the software development team to successfully deliver complex projects on time.
- Strategy & Execution: Define and implement strategies to optimise project execution, addressing issues, and maintaining compliance with software development best practices.
- Development Lifecycle Oversight: Supervise all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality standards.
- Audit Compliance: Ensure audit compliance, especially regarding Information Security and VAPT audits, and address any audit-related issues.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams for smooth project integration and delivery of expected outcomes.
Technical Skills
- C# .NET: Expertise in C# .NET for developing software applications.
- Java: Proficient in Java programming and developing Java-based solutions.
- SQL Server: Experience with SQL Server, database management, and optimization.
- Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure.
Required Competencies
