Role

The Head of Design and Impact is a leadership role responsible for the design, measurement, and learning aspects of WWF India's programs. You'll work closely with the program director and senior management to ensure projects are well-designed, effectively monitored, and contribute to the organization's overall impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of major programs and projects
  • Improve baseline data and outcome monitoring processes
  • Provide timely support to the fundraising team with inputs on proposals, monitoring, and reporting
  • Measure the impact of the WWF India strategy and document findings
  • Support different teams to ensure their strategies and campaigns deliver impact
  • Train and mentor colleagues on project design and implementation
  • Ensure environmental and social safeguards are integrated into conservation work
  • Liaise with network colleagues to improve M&E quality

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading and implementing M&E for strategies, programs, and projects
  • Demonstrated skills in training and guiding peers, including through remote support
  • Experience with different monitoring and evaluation approaches at a program and organizational level
  • Understanding of organizational systems and how they affect program management and learning
  • Experience in designing projects for fundraising and managing them to meet donor expectations
  • Understanding of global monitoring frameworks and evolving M&E approaches
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and management skills
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Confident working autonomously and making objective decisions
  • Able to travel to remote field sites
