Teach For India (TFI) is a nationwide movement tackling one of India’s most urgent challenges—educational inequity. Role
The Design & Communications Intern at Teach For India supports the organisation’s mission by assisting in the creation and management of visual and written materials across digital and print platforms. This internship offers practical experience in storytelling, brand building, and impact-focused communications, across multiple cities including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing digital and print materials such as social media posts, newsletters, presentations, reports, and event branding.
- Contribute fresh ideas in brainstorming sessions and help develop campaign strategies.
- Organise design files, update brand asset libraries, and maintain relevant documentation.
- Support the team in executing design/communication requests and translating concepts into impactful outputs.
- Explore new design tools, trends, and techniques in storytelling as part of ongoing learning.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Design, Communication, Visual Arts, Media, or related fields.
- Basic proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva.
- Familiarity with visual communication principles and interest in digital storytelling.
- Creativity, curiosity, attention to detail, and openness to feedback.
- Willingness to stay organised, manage tasks, and adapt to new projects or tools.
