About the Role
As an IT Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of technology strategies and data-driven solutions for project execution. Your role will be essential in driving data management practices and leveraging innovative technology to support smooth operations and successful outcomes for ongoing programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Management and Analysis
- Develop and implement data-driven project operations, using innovative survey solutions and analytics.
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor project stages, identify trends, and suggest proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to set up surveys on third-party SaaS tools in line with project needs.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement to aid decision-making.
- Establish data-aligned research practices with the implementation team to ensure data accuracy.
- Technology Solutions and Integration
- Gather and document user requirements to develop tailored tech solutions.
- Work with tech partners to implement solutions that enhance project operations.
- Configure and set up project management tools for optimized workflows.
- Provide technical support to ensure smooth integration of technology in project workflows.
- Project / Program Support
- Conduct training sessions with internal teams and partners for systems understanding and implementation.
- Help set up tracking systems for project metrics, ensuring data integrity.
- Offer technology expertise to support project implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity practices and compliance regulations.
- General Skills
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical staff.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
- Show commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 4-5 years in IT management, software engineering, application development, or systems implementation.
- Proven experience in data management and implementing tech solutions in project settings.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial analysis.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (Python/R) and project management software.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work style.
- Preferred: Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability is a plus. NGO sector experience is ideal.
