Role
Lead monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) across CIF's programs in India. This role ensures that project data is collected, analysed, and used to demonstrate impact, improve program quality, and support fundraising and reporting efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage MEAL tools, data collection formats, and reporting templates
- Monitor program activities and track progress against targets and indicators
- Collect, compile, and analyse both qualitative and quantitative project data
- Conduct field assessments and support program evaluations
- Prepare high-quality reports for internal teams and donors
- Work closely with the director and project heads to develop and implement CIF's MEAL strategy
- Support learning reviews and share findings to improve program design
- Build the capacity of program staff on data collection, reporting, and accountability practices
- Support the resource mobilisation team with data and evidence for proposals and donor communications
- Travel to field locations as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, social science, analytics, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on programs related to children, adolescents, youth, or women
- Experience in designing and implementing M&E systems
- Strong skills in collecting, analysing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data
- Knowledge of project cycle management tools including logical frameworks and theory of change
- Excellent report writing and communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Willingness to travel to field locations as required
