About The Role
The Junior Associate will play a vital role in WRI India’s GeoAnalytics team, creating impactful visual content to communicate data insights effectively. This position requires a creative approach to transforming complex data into engaging visual narratives suitable for social media and public outreach.
Location: Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore
Duration: 1 year
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: ₹6,50,000 CTC per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Data Visualization: Design dashboards, web maps, and infographics to visually communicate complex data and insights.
- Design & Layout: Develop visually rich presentations, infographics, charts, and maps following WRI branding guidelines.
- Social Media Outreach: Support WRI’s social media efforts by creating content that highlights WRI India’s work in urban planning.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years in graphic design, with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premier Pro.
- Design Skills: Expertise in infographics, thematic mapping, and 2D/3D visual content creation.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS), Tableau, PowerBI is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills in English; knowledge of an additional Indian language is an advantage.
- Portfolio: A robust design portfolio demonstrating relevant skills.
