Young India Show is a youth-led platform focused on helping young people lead and create positive change in society. Through skill-building, volunteering, and community projects, the organization works to nurture the voices and talents of the next generation to build a more responsible and empowered India.

Role

The Junior Web Developer Intern will support the technical team in building and maintaining digital platforms that connect youth with social impact opportunities. The purpose of this role is to ensure a smooth, user-friendly online experience for the organization’s community.

Responsibilities

Help design, develop, and maintain websites and web-based applications.
Write clean and functional code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Assist in debugging, testing, and fixing website issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
Update website content and work on improving the overall look and feel (UI/UX).
Collaborate with senior developers to add and test new features.
Check website performance and ensure it works well on both mobile and desktop.
Keep simple records and documentation of the code and any changes made.

Requirements

Educational background in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (ongoing or completed).
0–1 year of experience or strong interest in web development and design.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and responsive design.
Ability to work from the office in Delhi or Noida for the full duration of 3 months.
Strong communication skills and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
