What if every girl believed she could change her own future? Launch Girls turns this question into reality, one young woman at a time. Operating across 16 countries since 2020, this organisation has cracked the code on preparing adolescent girls for economic independence. Their secret lies not in grand promises, but in practical, girl-centred programming that builds both skills and confidence. Through their flagship Girl Boss program, they've reached over 27,000 girls who now see themselves as capable of leading, creating and driving change.
The numbers tell a powerful story. After participating in Launch Girls programs, 98% of girls believe they will reach their future goals, and an equal percentage report stronger self-belief. Nearly all participants develop better problem-solving abilities, whilst 91% identify support networks to help achieve their dreams. These aren't just statistics—they represent young women who've discovered their own agency.
What makes Launch Girls different is their understanding that sustainable change happens through local partnerships. Rather than imposing solutions, they work with 32 grassroots organisations who know their communities best. Each partner receives comprehensive tools including curriculum, training, technology and facilitator guides, ensuring programs remain relevant and culturally appropriate.

The Girl Boss program recognises that girls don't need to choose between entrepreneurship, employment or education—they can pursue any path with confidence. Participants learn critical professional and life skills whilst developing the personal agency needed to navigate complex decisions. Whether a girl dreams of starting her own business, joining the formal workforce or continuing her studies, she leaves equipped with 21st-century skills and unwavering self-belief.

Launch Girls' approach acknowledges a fundamental truth: when girls access economic opportunities and gain financial independence, they don't just transform their own lives—they break cycles of poverty and inequality for entire families and communities. This ripple effect makes their work particularly powerful in regions where girls face significant barriers to education and employment.
The organisation's impact extends beyond individual transformation to systemic change. By proving that girls can succeed when given appropriate support, they challenge perceptions about women's potential in communities across Southeast Asia and Africa. Their alumni become role models, inspiring younger girls to dream bigger and pursue goals once considered impossible.
As Launch Girls continues expanding their reach, they remain focussed on one core belief: girls possess incredible potential that just needs the right environment to flourish. Their work proves that with proper skills training, mentorship and support networks, any girl can become the architect of her own future.
