Junior Graphic Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer with foundational video editing skills to assist in creating visual content for digital, print, and social media platforms. This role is ideal for a budding designer who is eager to grow and contribute to exciting projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create graphics and video content for social media, digital ads, print materials, and websites.
Support the creation of layouts, typography, visual elements, and short video clips while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
Assist in developing visual content for promotional materials, presentations, and campaigns, including static and motion-based visuals.
Edit and retouch images, adjust colours, and enhance video clips with transitions and effects to meet project requirements.
Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions to enhance design and video content quality.
Refine designs and video edits based on feedback from senior designers and stakeholders.
Stay updated with design and video editing trends, tools, and software.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Strong sense of layout, colour theory, and typography.
Basic understanding of design principles for digital and print media, as well as video storytelling techniques.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Portfolio showcasing design and basic video editing skills (required).
