About the Role
The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme is a new strategic initiative by Reliance Foundation. The programme focuses on improving the quality of ECCE for children aged 3-6 years, primarily in Anganwadi centres across multiple states. The Lead Project Management (Technical) will oversee the technical aspects of the programme, ensuring its quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Capacity Building: Train and build the capacity of team members, partner staff, and Anganwadi stakeholders (e.g. Anganwadi Workers and Supervisors) on ECCE and programme-related aspects.
- Technology Initiatives: Design and coordinate technology-based initiatives, working with tech agencies, designers, government officials, and other stakeholders.
- Anganwadi Learning Lab: Lead the development of the Anganwadi Learning Lab concept, demonstrating grassroots innovations for scale-up.
- Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E): Oversee M&E processes, ensuring quality assessments and technical inputs, in collaboration with an external agency.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Planning: Development of implementation plans, budgets, and project trackers aligned with the ECCE strategy.
- Review: Regular reviews of project progress, ensuring timely reporting of results.
- Compliance: Tracking deliverables from partners and managing financial expenditures accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:
Necessary
- Postgraduate in education, social work, social science, rural management, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience managing complex programmes
- Experience in managing large-scale education/ECCE programmes
- Proficiency in English; working knowledge of Hindi is an advantage
- Excellent project management, coordination, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Creative problem-solving abilities with flexibility in approach
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of new technology in education
Desirable
- Qualification in Early Childhood Development, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
- Experience with Anganwadis, government primary schools, or large-scale programmes
- Knowledge of Human Centred Design or Design Thinking
- Experience with project management software
- Experience with Women and Child Development (WCD) or Education departments
