About The Role
The ECCE programme at Reliance Foundation aims to enhance the quality of early childhood education for children aged 3-6, particularly in Anganwadi centres. The Lead Project Management (Technical) will drive technical initiatives, oversee implementation, and ensure alignment with the Foundation’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (KPIs)
- Capacity Building: Train the ECCE team, partner staff, and Anganwadi stakeholders on ECCE and programme specifics.
- Technology Initiatives: Design and manage technology initiatives in coordination with tech agencies, designers, government officials, and other stakeholders.
- Anganwadi Learning Lab Development: Develop, document, and demonstrate the Anganwadi Learning Lab model, incorporating grassroots innovations.
- Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E): Oversee M&E processes, collaborating with an external agency to ensure high-quality evaluations and child assessments.
Expected Outcomes (KPIs)
- Develop implementation plans, budgets, and tracking mechanisms with input from partners.
- Conduct periodic project reviews and report results.
- Monitor compliance, tracking output delivery and financial expenditures.

Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in education, social work, social sciences, rural management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing complex programmes with operational leadership
Desirable Qualifications
- Advanced qualification in Early Childhood Development, Engineering, or IT
- Experience in large-scale programmes involving Anganwadis or government primary schools
Required Skills
- Project Management: Strong skills in project planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, budget management, and quality assurance.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and new technology, especially in educational contexts.
- Communication: Excellent presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity & Flexibility: Adaptable to changing scenarios, with innovative problem-solving skills.
- Team Leadership: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage 3-5 direct reports and collaborate nationwide.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Women and Child Development (WCD) and Education departments.
- Knowledge of Human-Centred Design, especially for education-related technology solutions.
- Competency in Project Management software.
