Role
Learning & Development Manager responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling learning and capacity-building programs for staff, volunteers, and fellows across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement organisation-wide learning and development strategy
- Create and manage training programs for staff, volunteers, and fellows
- Develop learning frameworks, curricula, and training journeys across roles and functions
- Oversee onboarding, leadership development, and continuous learning initiatives
- Work with programme and functional teams to identify learning needs and skill gaps
- Manage learning platforms, training tools, and learning content repositories
- Track learning outcomes, impact, and effectiveness of training programs
- Continuously improve training quality using feedback, data, and best practices
- Build internal capacity for facilitation, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
- Manage external trainers, partners, and learning collaborators when required
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in learning & development, training, organisational development, or capacity building roles
- Experience in designing and delivering structured learning programs at scale
- Graduate, post-graduate, or fellowship in relevant fields such as Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or Social Sector Management
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with NGOs, volunteer organisations, or education ecosystems is an advantage
- Strong planning, execution, and program management skills
- Minimum 2 year commitment expected.
