The heart of Bhumi’s mission lies in its education programs, which reach thousands of underprivileged children in orphanages, slum communities, and low-income schools.

Role

Learning & Development Manager responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling learning and capacity-building programs for staff, volunteers, and fellows across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement organisation-wide learning and development strategy
  • Create and manage training programs for staff, volunteers, and fellows
  • Develop learning frameworks, curricula, and training journeys across roles and functions
  • Oversee onboarding, leadership development, and continuous learning initiatives
  • Work with programme and functional teams to identify learning needs and skill gaps
  • Manage learning platforms, training tools, and learning content repositories
  • Track learning outcomes, impact, and effectiveness of training programs
  • Continuously improve training quality using feedback, data, and best practices
  • Build internal capacity for facilitation, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
  • Manage external trainers, partners, and learning collaborators when required

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in learning & development, training, organisational development, or capacity building roles
  • Experience in designing and delivering structured learning programs at scale
  • Graduate, post-graduate, or fellowship in relevant fields such as Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or Social Sector Management
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with NGOs, volunteer organisations, or education ecosystems is an advantage
  • Strong planning, execution, and program management skills
  • Minimum 2 year commitment expected.

Benefits

Remuneration anywhere between ₹50k to ₹1L per month (negotiable based on profile and experience).
