The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization. It works to save lives and reduce disease in low and middle-income countries by helping governments build sustainable, high-quality health systems. In India, CHAI works in partnership with its affiliate, the William J Clinton Foundation (WJCF). WJCF is an independent not-for-profit organisation that supports the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on high-priority health initiatives, including infectious diseases, cancer, maternal and child health, and digital health.
Role
M&E Analyst – Entomology Technical Support Unit responsible for supporting data analysis, monitoring, and reporting to strengthen vector-borne disease surveillance and control programs.
Responsibilities
- Assess the quality, credibility, and timeliness of entomological data collection and reporting.
- Advise entomology teams and government counterparts on data gaps and improvement strategies.
- Consolidate and clean vector control program data for analysis.
- Conduct multi-dimensional statistical analyses to correlate program performance with vector control activities.
- Develop and share reports, dashboards, and technical briefs to support planning and decision-making.
- Document program progress through reports, presentations, and templates.
- Undertake periodic field visits to states, union territories, and districts to assess challenges and support implementation.
- Provide insights and support to program leadership on innovative approaches and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in zoology, biology, environmental science, public health, statistics, economics, life sciences, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, or a master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience in vector research, life science research, impact evaluation, development consulting, or public sector advisory.
- Experience with monitoring & evaluation, data analytics, and dashboard/report development.
- High proficiency in data tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic settings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently (about 30–40% of the time).
