The Clinton Health Access Initiative

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization. It works to save lives and reduce disease in low and middle-income countries by helping governments build sustainable, high-quality health systems. In India, CHAI works in partnership with its affiliate, the William J Clinton Foundation (WJCF). WJCF is an independent not-for-profit organisation that supports the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on high-priority health initiatives, including infectious diseases, cancer, maternal and child health, and digital health.

Role

M&E Analyst – Vector Borne Diseases (VBD) Technical Support Unit responsible for consolidating, analysing, and presenting data to support surveillance, planning, and decision-making for VBD programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and clean data from multiple sources for programme monitoring and insights.
  • Conduct multi-dimensional analysis to support planning and management at national and state levels.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and technical briefs for programme officials.
  • Document programme progress through reports, presentations, and templates.
  • Visit states and districts to identify data challenges and support improvements.
  • Support strengthening of data systems, analytics, and performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics, economics, life sciences, or related fields with minimum 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in monitoring & evaluation, data analytics, research, or public sector advisory.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel 20–30% of the time.
