SNEHA is a Mumbai-based non-profit working to ensure that women and children in urban informal settlements have the health, nutrition, and safety they deserve. By working closely with both families and public health systems, SNEHA creates lasting change in areas like maternal health, child malnutrition, and the prevention of violence. With a dedicated team of over 500 members, the organization focuses on building a world where every woman and child can thrive.

Role

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator ensures our programs are effective by managing data systems and evaluating our impact on the ground. You will turn numbers into insights that help us serve the community better.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of monitoring frameworks to track program progress.
  • Coordinate the design of quantitative surveys and specialized sub-studies.
  • Manage field-level data collection while ensuring strict ethical compliance.
  • Design and develop data entry formats for mobile applications and databases.
  • Create visual dashboards using data software to make information easy to understand.
  • Process and analyse data for monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports.
  • Collaborate with the Information Management team to maintain an efficient MIS.
  • Support SNEHA’s broader research activities and ethical review processes.
  • Communicate data findings clearly to program managers and field teams.
  • Recruit and train Data Officers to maintain high-quality data standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with quantitative data or public health systems.
  • Proficiency in using mobile data collection tools and database management.
  • Strong technical skills in data visualization software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences through clear communication.
