The system will be integrated with the State Education Management Information System (EMIS) for efficient and sustainable design.
About The Role
Madhi Foundation is seeking a Junior Product Associate - Mobile Applications to join their TechFES team in Chennai. This is a full-time position with 1-3 years of experience requirement and a salary range of 7-9 LPA. The role involves managing two key products: Enjoy English (an oracy-forward language learning app for grades 1-3) and Communities Enabling Foundational Learning (CEFL), a community-building tool for parents focused on foundational literacy and numeracy.
What You'll Do
The selected candidate will collaborate with the product manager, development teams, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle. The role will be further defined collaboratively after the selection process.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the product manager to build new product offerings for teachers, parents, and students
- Drive initiatives to understand low-income users and shape features, content, and behavior change messaging
- Develop and drive key initiatives to improve engagement and learning outcomes
- Partner with content and delivery teams to ensure seamless experience in uploading, managing, and delivering classes
- Ideate and support the execution of new product features and iterations on existing features
- Develop, track, and analyze user metrics and outcomes
- Drive partnerships and integrations with technologies that can enhance the product
- Support the execution of large-scale AB tests and experiments to determine product changes
Requirements
- Understanding of Android (Java, Kotlin) operating systems and familiarity with mobile app development tools like Android Studio
- Fundamental knowledge of programming languages used in mobile app development (Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin)
- Ability to read and understand code to communicate effectively with development teams
- Awareness of the mobile app development lifecycle
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
- Knowledge of mobile analytics tools for tracking user behavior and app performance
- Understanding of mobile app testing methodologies
- Awareness of techniques to optimize mobile app performance
- Understanding of API integration into mobile applications
- Basic knowledge of mobile security principles and best practices
- Relevant academic background and 1-3 years of experience in mobile application development
- Strong passion for mobile technology and product development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
