Role

As Manager – Communications, you’ll be the storyteller-in-chief, translating powerful field insights into compelling narratives that inspire, inform, and connect. From crafting human-interest stories from rural India to running digital campaigns, you’ll be the voice that amplifies ABF’s impact to the world.

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality case studies, articles, reports, social media posts, and newsletters.
  • Craft narratives grounded in grassroots realities for internal and external audiences.
  • Draft press releases, speeches, and op-eds as needed.
  • Manage content calendars for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Create visually engaging posts using Canva or similar tools.
  • Analyse performance and refine strategies to boost engagement.
  • Co-create campaigns with the Communications Head.
  • Support creation of films, reels, and photo stories; manage vendors and timelines.
  • Collaborate with programme teams to source stories and visuals.
  • Maintain an organised archive of creative assets.
  • Support events, exhibitions, and outreach activities.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years in communications, content, or digital media (preferably in CSR/development).
  • Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or relevant field.
  • Exceptional writing skills and storytelling instincts.
  • Familiarity with creative production workflows and digital tools like Canva.
