About The Role
Position: Manager - Data Analytics and Reporting
Department: MERA (Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Assessment)
Location: Mumbai (Chembur) – with travel beyond Mumbai as needed
Job Type: Permanent
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
Compensation: ₹9–12 LPA (based on experience & last drawn salary)
The Manager - Data Analytics and Reporting will play a crucial role in enhancing KEF’s data systems and leveraging data for decision-making. The candidate will set up advanced analytical systems for projects, drive data quality, and support the organisation’s expansion strategy. A key responsibility is to make data insights accessible to all KEF teams and foster data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract project data from multiple sources using automation tools.
- Build systems to translate raw data into actionable insights.
- Automate project performance scorecards.
- Support project teams in leveraging data for operational and management decisions.
- Identify opportunities for data-driven systems and processes.
- Ensure high-quality data management across projects.
- Perform data analysis, uncover patterns, and generate periodic reports.
- Develop and test data models for specific project challenges.
- Work with the IT team to enhance technology efficiencies.
- Improve existing data processes and introduce new analytical solutions.
- Conduct capacity-building sessions for project teams on data analytics.
- Design data analysis workflows and reporting mechanisms.
- Perform project cost analysis and link it with operational activities.
- Provide financial analysis and forecasting support to project heads.
- Simplify complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Regularly track and report on project KPIs.
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Demography, or Population and Development Studies.
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in database management within the education sector.
- Experience working with urban school education systems or large-volume databases used for machine learning-based predictions.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in predictive analytics.
- Hands-on experience with SAS, SPSS, STATA.
- Database programming languages like SQL, R, Python.
- Experience with Google Cloud data platforms.
- Strong data mining, problem-solving, and pattern recognition skills.
- Time-series data analysis expertise.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio for data visualization.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex data in simplified terms.
- Excellent reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
