Lead the next generation of school leaders at iTeach Schools. This role focuses on designing leadership pathways for educators and building a strong talent pipeline that drives high quality education for students from low income communities | ₹75k - ₹87.5k/month

Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Experience: 4+ years in education, with specific experience in coaching educators or leading professional development programs.
Compensation: ₹75,000 - ₹87,500/month

In India, children from low-income backgrounds often face a huge gap in the quality of education they receive compared to their wealthier peers. This limits their chances of going to college or finding good jobs. iTeach was started in 2015 to change this. We run free, high-quality schools and support students from college through to their careers. We focus on professional growth for our staff and creating a school environment that truly puts students first.

Role

This role is centered on building the leadership pipeline for iTeach and the broader education ecosystem. The Manager will design and lead initiatives that accelerate the growth of educators into leadership positions, such as Lead Teachers and School Leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the School Leader Academy (SLA) to train high potential mid level managers for future school leadership roles.
  • Recruit talent from over 20 partner school networks and manage program operations and assessments.
  • Work with facilitators to deliver modules on instructional excellence, school culture, and strategic leadership.
  • Nurture an alumni network to support new School Leaders during their first three years in the role.
  • Design the Aspiring School Leadership Track (ASLT) for teachers moving into instructional coaching or lead roles.
  • Partner with schools and fellowships to identify high potential educator talent across the ecosystem.
  • Develop internal systems to identify and accelerate the readiness of iTeach educators for leadership.
  • Create individualized development plans focusing on mindset, culture, and instructional leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in the education sector.
  • Proven experience in coaching educators or managing leadership development programs.
  • Strong skills in learning design, facilitation, and project management.
  • Ability to design practice based modules and exposure opportunities for educators.
