About the Role
Location: Mumbai (Head Office)
Reporting To: President/COO
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
The Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and impact of The PRIDE India's programs. Reporting to the President/COO, the M&E Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring frameworks, data collection and analysis, and ensuring accountability in program execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement M&E Frameworks
- Design and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to track program progress and outcomes.
- Develop tools and methodologies to measure program impact effectively.
Assessment and Analysis
- Conduct baseline, mid-term, and end-line assessments to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Lead quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Technical Guidance and Capacity Building
- Provide training and support to field staff and partners on M&E methodologies and data management.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
Reporting and Knowledge Sharing
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories for knowledge sharing.
Field Monitoring and Compliance
- Conduct periodic field visits to assess program implementation and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
Other Responsibilities
- Support program teams in project planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Collaborate with government agencies, donors, and community stakeholders to strengthen impact.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the development sector focusing on health, education, livelihoods, or community development.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Experience with M&E frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office and statistical software (SPSS, STATA preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in donor reporting and compliance.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Marathi or other regional languages is an advantage.
- Other: Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
