Role

The Manager - School Project leads the scholarship lifecycle for young students. You will ensure deserving girls receive the financial and academic support they need by managing school partnerships, student selection, and the distribution of essential school supplies.

Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with school authorities to ensure smooth scholarship procedures and student engagement.
• Lead the annual student selection process, including application scrutiny, eligibility checks, and transparent interviews.
• Coordinate interview panels with school committees and ensure all selection criteria are clearly communicated.
• Gather detailed cost data from principals regarding tuition fees and essential items like uniforms and books.
• Manage the procurement of school supplies with vendors to ensure every student receives their required materials.
• Validate student cohorts to track promotions and maintain accurate records for continued scholarship support.
• Oversee the disbursement of funds and maintain audit-ready documentation for all financial transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Management, or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in school operations, admissions, or community-based scholarship programs.
• Fluency in local languages and English to effectively communicate with schools, parents, and students.
• Strong technical skills in documentation control, basic budgeting, and record-keeping.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and lead interview panels.
• Proven ability to manage logistics and vendor procurement aligned with organizational guidelines.
