Compensation: ₹58,333 – ₹70,833 /month

Bhumi

Today, Bhumi has grown into one of the country’s largest independent youth volunteer organisations, with a presence in over a dozen Indian cities.

Role

You will lead the growth and strategy of Bhumi Clubs, turning everyday citizens into local leaders. Your goal is to build a massive, self-sustaining movement where volunteers take ownership of solving problems in their own neighborhoods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of volunteer engagement initiatives through Bhumi Clubs.
  • Design scaled campaigns and local events to maximize volunteer participation.
  • Coordinate leadership development programs to build a strong pipeline of community leaders.
  • Manage volunteer retention by creating a culture of recognition and meaningful connection.
  • Scale the movement across new geographies using data-driven systems and partnerships.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and provide guidance to volunteer coordinators.
  • Monitor engagement metrics to ensure consistent growth and impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or completion of a recognized fellowship.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in volunteering and community engagement.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in volunteer management.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using social media for community building and prompt volunteer interaction.
  • Skilled in using data and digital tools to manage people-centric processes.
  • Strong leadership, emotional maturity, and the ability to solve complex problems independently.
  • Proactive, accountable, and willing to travel nationally and locally as needed.
  • Age must be under 35 years.
