Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL)
Resolve to Save Lives is a nonprofit organization focused on preventing deaths from cardiovascular disease. The organization works with governments to improve hypertension control, reduce global salt intake, and remove artificial trans fats from food supplies. In India, its subsidiary RTSL-SPL provides technical and programmatic support to state governments to strengthen public health systems. Their work involves implementing standardized treatment protocols, improving patient follow-up, and using data to inform health policy. The goal is to support the Government of India in meeting national health priorities and sustainable development goals related to non-communicable diseases.
Role
The manager will oversee field monitoring and data analytics to strengthen primary healthcare systems in Odisha or Rajasthan. This role involves identifying underperforming health districts and working with local teams to improve the quality of care for hypertension and diabetes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data regarding the continuum of care for hypertension and diabetes to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular supervision visits to health facilities to review screening, diagnosis, and digital workflows.
- Provide onsite mentoring to NCD staff at the district and facility levels to ensure protocol implementation.
- Lead the analysis of the NP-NCD portal data, focusing on patient retention and control rates.
- Develop district ranking frameworks and state dashboards to visualize health outcomes.
- Train district and block teams in data interpretation, quality assurance, and the use of digital tools.
- Prepare technical reports and analytic insights for state review meetings and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Data Science.
- At least five years of experience managing health data at the state level.
- Familiarity with government health data systems, specifically the NP-NCD portal.
- Experience creating training modules and technical guidance documents for health workers.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and the ability to use data for clinical decision-making.
- Fluency in English and the local language of the state (Odia for Bhubaneshwar or Hindi for Jaipur).
- Willingness to travel frequently within the state.
