Role

The Team Lead for One Dasra Communications is a strategic role focused on how Dasra shares its story and impact with the world. You will help build a strong brand, manage social media, and work with creative partners to ensure our message is clear and inspiring. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling and wants to help position Dasra as a leader in the social sector through creative and precise communication.

Responsibilities

  • Help create a clear "One Dasra" voice and look for all our projects and platforms.
  • Manage the organization’s social media and website, ensuring high-quality content is posted regularly.
  • Help write articles, press releases, and coordinate with journalists to share Dasra's insights.
  • Lead the communication efforts for major events in India and abroad to showcase our work.
  • Work closely with designers, printers, and production teams to create professional materials.
  • Ensure every piece of communication, from emails to reports, matches Dasra’s values and brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6 + years of relevant work experience, preferably within the NGO or social impact space.
  • Strong ability to manage social media platforms, website content tools, and data reporting for digital campaigns.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. You should be a natural leader who can manage multiple projects at once and work well with people from different backgrounds.
  • High proficiency in English is essential for narrative building and reporting.
  • An understanding of the social sector and a respectful approach to representing community-led change.
