One Future Collective

One Future Collective (OFC) is a feminist and social justice organisation founded in 2017 by Vandita Morarka, based in Mumbai. Its core belief is simple but far-reaching: every person has the right to live a life of safety, dignity, and belonging. OFC works towards this by combining two approaches building people power through communities of leaders, and pushing for systemic change in institutions. Their model of change, which they call the Infinity Loop, sees these two forces as constantly reinforcing each other: stronger communities push institutions to become more just, and more just institutions create better conditions for communities to thrive.
Since its founding, OFC has reached over 2 million lives and trained more than 25,000 social justice leaders, working across India and with a growing global presence.
OFC's work is organised across four key areas:
- Leadership Communities OFC builds spaces where people come together to learn, dialogue, and take action on social justice issues.
- Healing and Justice OFC runs a free, confidential peer support helpline (available in English and Hindi)
- Consulting for Change OFC works with organisations NGOs, companies, and institutions to help them become more equitable and socially just in how they operate
- Research and Advocacy OFC conducts original research on issues at the intersection of gender, rights, and social justice, and uses these findings to drive policy advocacy and community action
OFC is also known for creating the Sanskaari Girls Book Club, a free global reading community focused on writings from South Asia, bringing together readers who want thoughtful, inclusive literary spaces.
