Prayan Foundation

Prayan is an NGO, registered under NITI Aayog, with a motto of awareness among all and welfare of all! Awareness about sexually transmitted diseases, women hygiene, environment protection and cleanliness, food programs are among the many causes which are initiated. We promote voluntary involvement which will ensure student growth , foster their leadership skills, confidence levels ensuring an overall grooming. Role

A proactive 3-month remote internship designed to build the foundation’s reach through meaningful partnerships, event coordination, and community networking.

Responsibilities

• Identify and connect with potential NGO partners, colleges, and social initiatives.
• Establish new collaborations that help the foundation reach more people.
• Research other social initiatives to help improve our own outreach strategies.
• Coordinate with experts and speakers to organize online workshops and sessions.
• Reach out to professionals and educators to participate in foundation events.
• Draft professional emails, proposals, and briefs for external partners.
• Maintain regular communication and follow-ups with existing collaborators.
• Promote foundation campaigns and drives through various institutional networks.
• Represent the foundation in virtual meetings and collaborative discussions.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in volunteering, event planning, or community engagement.
• Ability to speak and write clearly in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
• Basic skills in using email, Google Workspace, and online meeting platforms like Zoom or Meet.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with strangers.
• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently from home.
• Passion for social change and a strong desire to learn about the non-profit sector.
