DBC focuses on accelerating information systems to improve public systems’ responsiveness and governance, ultimately enhancing citizen experiences in accessing government health services at the last mile.
About the Role
The Principal Consultant - Technology will provide technical expertise in implementing and maintaining digital health solutions. The role involves innovating, integrating new technologies, and ensuring all systems comply with interoperability standards to support DBC’s mission.

Responsibilities
Technical Guidance and Implementation
- Provide expertise on the design, development, and implementation of digital health solutions.
- Ensure compliance with interoperability standards and best practices.
- Innovate and integrate new technologies based on the ideation of the Executive Director (ED).
Collaboration and Planning
- Collaborate with the ED and SHSB to identify and prioritise digital health initiatives.
- Develop a digital intervention workplan to improve service delivery and health indicators.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project execution.
Diagnostics and Analysis
- Conduct diagnostics to verify program-specific workflows in digital solutions.
- Conduct assessments to identify gaps in existing systems and propose improvements.
- Develop analytical models for state-level governance.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Use data analysis and performance monitoring tools to drive decision-making.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in digital health technology implementation, healthcare IT, or related fields.
- Proven experience in managing digital health projects and technology integration.
- Familiarity with interoperability standards and healthcare regulations.
