About The Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the design, development, and implementation of impactful technology solutions for nonprofits. This is a client-facing role, requiring expertise in product management, technical implementation, stakeholder collaboration, and social sector innovation.

The ideal candidate should be able to strategize, implement, and scale tech solutions while ensuring that our technology is affordable, effective, and designed for low-resource settings. This role will primarily involve working on client projects, either individually or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product & Technology Strategy
  • Define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs.
  • Design scalable and frugal technology solutions tailored for low-resource environments.
  • Evaluate and recommend open-source platforms, low-code/no-code solutions, and cost-effective technologies.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement & Client Management
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams, clients, and tech vendors, ensuring smooth communication and execution.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions with clients to align on vision, goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with universities, CSR initiatives, and tech volunteers for support.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions tailored to their needs.
  1. Research & Data-Driven Innovation
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform product decisions.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to optimize product adoption and impact.
  • Track and analyze KPIs & impact metrics, ensuring measurable social outcomes.
  1. Technical Implementation & Delivery
  • Translate non-technical stakeholder needs into technical specifications for development.
  • Oversee product development, configuration, and deployment, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and pilot testing, refining solutions based on real-world feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with internal and external teams.
  1. Project Management & Execution
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones for product implementations.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of tech solutions, from ideation to launch.
  • Manage budgets, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
  1. Capacity Building & Adoption
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for non-technical teams and partners.
  • Develop guides, tutorials, and documentation to support easy tech adoption.
  • Implement strategies to increase user adoption and minimize resistance.
  1. Team Collaboration & Growth
  • Work closely with internal team, and external developers.
  • Mentor team members and support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Assist in curating, documenting, and publishing knowledge and key learnings.
  • Provide strategic input on future tech initiatives for the organization.
