Their work focuses on urban governance, health, sanitation, and public finance management. Their core offering is DIGIT, an open-source platform that serves as a digital public good. It allows local governments, policymakers, and service providers to create transparent and accessible programs for citizens. Over the last 20 years, they have partnered with over 2,600 towns and cities, impacting the lives of more than 16 crore people across India.

Role

You will drive the awareness and adoption of digital products that are built to serve the public good. This role requires you to translate complex technical capabilities into clear narratives that resonate with civil society, government institutions, and private sector partners. You will bridge the gap between product development and user understanding to ensure technology effectively solves real-world problems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the product marketing strategy using user-driven insights.
  • Translate technical features into customer-facing benefits for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create high-quality content including product demos, explainer videos, blogs, and case studies.
  • Collaborate with product managers to plan and launch new features through release notes and webinars.
  • Develop product marketing kits, including pitch decks and one-pagers.
  • Execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and new modules.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, partnerships, and field teams to align messaging.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in product marketing.
  • Experience supporting SaaS product launches or self-serve adoption journeys.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create aesthetic content.
  • Ability to own the marketing toolkit from positioning to executing launches.
  • Experience with SEO/SEM strategies and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Prior experience in a 0 to 1 journey for a product is highly valued.
  • Background in the government sector or social impact work is a bonus.
