About the Unit – Global Corporate Solutions
The Global Corporate Solutions (GCS) unit is responsible for Corporate Security, Corporate Real Estate, and Corporate Services. The Corporate Services (GCSCS) division provides key services such as Travel and Visa, Conference Management, Child Care, Fitness Centers, Art Programs, Translation, and more. GCSCS operates across World Bank Group Headquarters (Washington, DC) and Country Offices, supported by staff and contractors.
About the Role
Location: Chennai, India
Shift Timing: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM IST
The Program Analyst will support GCSCS by providing data-driven insights, ensuring efficient operations, and recommending process improvements. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create and manage dashboards, metrics, and reports to guide strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and vendors to improve operational models and suggest efficiency enhancements.
- Develop advanced reporting mechanisms and ensure data quality.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Oversee chargeback processes and provide insights on financial transactions.
- Benchmark costs against market standards and suggest pricing strategies.
- Support financial evaluations of vendor performance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address business needs.
- Take on additional duties as required by the GCS team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in data collection, organisation, and analysis.
- Prior experience in data analytics, reporting, and transaction processing is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and client orientation.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in handling financial data and preparing strategic reports.
