CBM India
CBM India is a leading not-for-profit organisation with a heartfelt mission: to build a world where everyone, regardless of ability, can live with dignity and opportunity. Since 1967, CBM India has been at the forefront of disability inclusion, working in partnership with communities, governments, and civil society to break down barriers and open up possibilities for persons with disabilities and those from marginalised backgrounds.
The organisation’s work is woven into the fabric of daily life across India. From making classrooms accessible and training teachers for inclusive education, to providing essential healthcare and supporting livelihoods, CBM India’s programmes touch millions of lives each year. The team believes that disability is simply part of the diversity of human experience, and that every person should have the chance to learn, work, and thrive.
CBM India’s approach is practical and people-centred. They listen deeply to communities, co-create solutions, and focus on long-term impact. Their commitment to inclusion is seen in every project—be it a rural eye camp, a skills training centre, or an emergency response after a disaster.
