Role
WASSAN is seeking a creative communicator to lead brand storytelling for Millets Naari, translating grassroots impact into compelling content that builds consumer trust and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar for social media, ensuring the release of 4 posts and 1 behind-the-scenes reel weekly
- Write engaging and persuasive copies for social media platforms, blogs, WhatsApp campaigns, and product catalogues to effectively communicate the brand's value
- Coordinate and execute festival campaigns (Makar Sankranti, Ugadi, Raksha Bandhan, Diwali) to drive seasonal sales and customer engagement
- Design and produce marketing collaterals needed for campaigns and regular communication, ensuring alignment with brand identity
- Build and update the WhatsApp Business catalogue, managing customer queries and engagement to enhance customer experience
- Support website content development, focusing on crafting compelling brand stories, product descriptions, blogs, and customer testimonials
- Document and translate Women Self-Help Group (WSHG) stories into powerful brand narratives that resonate with consumers
- Track and analyse communication KPIs, including social media engagement, campaign reach, website visits, and sales leads to optimise communication strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with proficiency in English and Telugu/Hindi preferred
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer) and a strong understanding of digital marketing analytics
- 2–4 years' experience in campaign planning, digital marketing, or community engagement preferred
- Familiarity with designing software like Canva, Corel Draw, etc., to create visually appealing marketing materials
- Ability to translate grassroots stories into compelling consumer-facing content that aligns with brand values
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in coordinating with SHGs, institutional buyers, and urban customers
