Program Manager at IDF | Sheikhpura | 9 LPA

Location: Sheikhpura, Bihar
Experience: 5–7 years of experience in livelihoods promotion, WATSAN, or holistic rural development projects.
Compensation: ₹75,000 /month

Role

The Program Manager will lead a CSR project called 'PROSPER.' The purpose of this role is to manage and integrate various rural development activities while working closely with the community to ensure they are empowered and self-reliant.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project activities including training, monitoring, and strategic implementation within set timelines.
• Supervise and guide the field team to ensure project goals are met effectively.
• Build strong relationships with donors, government officials, and partners to ensure smooth project operations.
• Manage project finances and documentation in coordination with the accounting team.
• Track project progress using data systems (MIS) and write high-quality reports based on evidence.
• Create sustainability plans for community assets and infrastructure developed during the project.
• Represent the project at various platforms to showcase achievements and build the organization's brand.
• Lead and manage the project team while maintaining a professional and organized work environment.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree or Post-graduate degree in Development Studies, Rural Development, Social Welfare, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in livelihoods, water and sanitation (WATSAN), or holistic development; CSR project experience is a plus.
• Strong technical skills in using database systems, documentation, and reporting.
• Experience in organizing skill development programs and promoting micro-enterprises.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi (oral and written).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead a team effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and cultural sensitivity.
• Willingness to be stationed full-time at the district headquarters in Sheikhpura.
