Role
The Program Manager leads multiple client projects to ensure they meet strategic goals and create a high impact. This role focuses on managing project teams, building partnerships, and representing the organization to grow the start-up support network.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple project teams to ensure work stays on track with organizational goals.
- Lead high-level meetings with partners and build strategic relationships.
- Direct the planning, budgeting, and overall performance of assigned projects.
- Create and use new strategies to improve the success of our programs.
- Grow the organization by finding new opportunities and acting as a brand ambassador.
- Source new deals and manage those projects from start to finish.
- Lead a small team and help them reach project milestones.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in managing programs for incubators or 6–8 years in Business Consulting within India.
- Educational background in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing complex programs and leading diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of how start-up incubators and accelerators work.
- Experience with government grants (like DST, MeitY, or BIRAC) and reporting is a strong plus.
- Skilled in using computer tools, MIS, and data platforms for tracking progress.
- Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to work with venture funds and academic institutions.
- Understanding of start-up structures, intellectual property, and tech-transfer.
