Role

The Program Manager will be a key part of the Foundational Learning Collaborative (FLC), a national platform aimed at ensuring every child in India can read and do basic math by 2032. You will manage projects, conduct research to find better ways to teach, and create high-level reports and presentations to influence policy and funding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track progress across different teams to ensure education programs are delivered on time.
• Study the education landscape (like ed-tech and teaching methods) to suggest new ideas and strategies for the foundation.
• Write professional policy notes, reports, and pitch decks for government officials and donors.
• Work closely with partner organizations, government bodies like NITI Aayog, and global foundations to keep everyone aligned.
• Help create articles and campaign materials to raise awareness about the importance of foundational literacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier institution (preferably in Public Policy, Education, Economics, or Management).
• 2-4 years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, or development roles.
• Strong ability to think structurally and solve complex problems.
• Excellent writing and speaking skills, with experience creating presentations for senior leaders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where tasks may change quickly.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with people at all levels of seniority.
• A deep passion for improving India’s education system and driving long-term social change.
• Basic technical skills in data organization and professional software (MS Office/Google Workspace).
