Role
The Senior Program Associate will drive the mission to create aspirational overseas career paths for youth in Maharashtra. You will balance research, program coordination, and community engagement to build strong migration systems from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout of talent mobilization programs by collaborating with state departments and local technical institutes.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to align research, skilling, and employer engagement efforts.
- Conduct field research to map local skill availability and understand migration trends within the state.
- Manage partnerships with recruitment agencies, language institutes, and skilling centers to meet program goals.
- Organize job fairs, workshops, and mobilization events to connect candidates with global opportunities.
- Design and execute creative awareness campaigns to inspire youth and families about ethical overseas employment.
- Support pilot programs that prepare candidates for international standards through certification and language training.
- Track program progress using data-driven indicators and document success stories for future replication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience executing programs related to skilling or labour markets.
- Fluency in Hindi and English to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in data tracking, documentation, and reporting for internal and external use.
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills to lead workshops and manage government relations.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to solving on-ground logistical challenges.
- High level of ownership and a willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra.
