Role
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of OLF’s programs across assigned districts. You will act as the primary link between the foundation and government officials, ensuring that educational initiatives run smoothly and data drives decision making.
Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% implementation of programs in assigned districts and blocks while meeting defined timelines and quality standards.
- Establish and maintain effective engagement with stakeholders at the District, Block, and Cluster levels to support program goals.
- Develop and execute quarterly action plans that align with district level educational priorities.
- Monitor program outcomes at the district and block levels to ensure timely reporting and compliance with monitoring frameworks.
- Conduct capacity building sessions and mentoring for District Engagement Officers and government stakeholders.
- Resolve stakeholder issues promptly using internal communication tools and systems.
- Represent the organization as an official spokesperson at government meetings and educational forums.
- Document program activities and progress to ensure accurate reporting.
Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in social work, international development, public policy, rural management, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working specifically in the education sector.
- Experience working with government administrative positions and education programs is preferred.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and the local language is essential for effective collaboration.
- Basic technical skills, including the use of MS Office, Google Workspace, and spreadsheets for planning and reporting.
- Strong data and problem solving skills to understand challenges and improve program execution.
- Willingness to travel extensively (75% of the time) to monitor progress and engage with partners.
