WeLive Foundation supports young adults who must leave orphanages and care homes when they turn 18. These "care leavers" often face the world alone. We provide a safe bridge to adulthood through residential and non-residential programs that focus on emotional health and job readiness, helping them transition into independent, stable lives.
Role
A leadership position reporting to the CEO, focused on managing daily operations and designing innovative strategies to scale the Bridge Program for youth transition.
Responsibilities
- Lead the growth of existing residential and non-residential programs and design new implementation models.
- Manage end-to-end execution of program cycles, including planning, delivery, and regular reviews.
- Coordinate with mentors, staff, and volunteers across multiple centers to ensure high-quality support.
- Facilitate team meetings and capacity-building initiatives to maintain a performance-driven culture.
- Design and develop new program modules and frameworks based on youth needs and research.
- Monitor program data to suggest and implement evidence-based improvements.
- Interact regularly with youth to ensure active engagement and personal growth.
- Strengthen relationships with Child Care Institutions (CCIs) and external facilitators.
- Manage administrative functions and ensure compliance with legal and donor regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, fundraising activities, and the creation of progress reports for donors.
Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of professional experience in program management in the social sector.
- Prior experience working with youth or familiarity with the foster care/CCI system is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in data handling and making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Kannada, Tamil, or Hindi is preferred.
- Ability to work a 6-day week (5 days in-office, 1 day from home).
