Role

Join FAME's mission to transform micro-enterprise clusters across India as a Program Officer, where you'll lead CSR initiatives that bridge the gap between grassroots businesses and market opportunities, directly impacting thousands of lives whilst driving sustainable community development.

Responsibilities

Design and execute CSR programmes aligned with FAME's mission across dairy, footwear, sports goods, and kirana clusters
Oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring timely and effective ground-level implementation alongside field teams
Conduct regular field visits to implement activities, monitor progress, and gather community feedback
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, NGOs, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders
Organise and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community events for micro-entrepreneurs
Collect and analyse data to prepare periodic progress reports and impact assessments
Identify and document best practices and lessons learned for future project scaling
Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring expenditures remain within allocated limits
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Rural Management, Development Studies, or related field
3-5 years of proven experience in social sector project management, with track record of implementing CSR, NGO, or development projects
Strong understanding of micro-enterprise challenges and cluster development approaches
Experience in stakeholder engagement, including government officials, community leaders, and grassroots organisations
Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation frameworks and data analysis
Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate training sessions
Willingness to travel extensively for field visits and community engagement
