Role

The Program Officer is responsible for managing the HCLTech Grant partners, ensuring that projects are executed according to approved strategies. This role involves heavy focus on monitoring program quality, managing budgets, and conducting field research to document the impact of various social interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HCLTech Grant partner relationships, including routine monitoring and budget oversight.
  • Collate and manage MIS data at a central level for all grant-funded projects.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop research materials, including situational assessment reports, case studies, and academic articles.
  • Monitor program progress against both programmatic and financial targets, making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure partners utilize approved budgets in a timely manner and in accordance with MoU terms.
  • Manage program visibility on social media platforms and ensure all communication materials meet ethical standards.
  • Coordinate volunteer engagement activities, including organizing floor walks for corporate volunteers.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination support across various themes and projects, often under high-pressure timelines.

Requirements

  • Post Graduate degree with at least 3-4 years of progressive work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in field-level program operations, monitoring and evaluation, and budget management.
  • Mandatory research experience with the ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with development communications, including IEC materials and social media campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently within a corporate environment and present work at various forums.
  • Capacity to manage complex, time-sensitive processes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time for field monitoring.
