Role
WASSAN is looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage data systems that drive decision-making across multiple rural development projects in Telangana.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project databases and MIS systems on a regular basis
- Collect, verify, and compile data from field teams and partner organizations
- Generate periodic progress and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely entry of all project data
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities through data analysis and interpretation
- Design and manage digital data collection tools and dashboards using platforms like Kobo, ODK, and Google Forms
- Train and support field staff on data recording procedures and MIS usage
- Coordinate with program teams to track targets, outcomes, and key performance indicators
- Ensure data security, backup, and proper documentation of information systems
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to support management decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Agriculture, Rural Development, Data Analytics, or related fields
- Proficiency in digital data collection tools such as Kobo, ODK, and Google Forms
- Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel dashboards
- Understanding of M&E frameworks, project indicators, and reporting processes
- Basic knowledge of agriculture, livelihoods, or rural development programs
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to present data and insights in clear, visual formats
- Understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks in the development sector (preferred)
- Basic familiarity with GIS mapping tools such as QGIS (preferred)
