Role
Visthar is looking for a Programme Coordinator to lead its work on Gender Equality and Constitutional Values. This role involves designing and facilitating capacity-building programs, coordinating with partners and fellows across Karnataka, and ensuring gender-transformative approaches are woven into all initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive leadership across all initiatives on Gender and Constitutional Values.
- Coordinate teams and partners to integrate gender-transformative approaches.
- Coordinate and guide Constitutional Values fellows across Karnataka.
- Lead communication and documentation efforts, including social media.
- Design and facilitate capacity-building programs for diverse stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to strengthen impact.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in program coordination, preferably in gender or human rights.
- Strong understanding of gender perspectives and India's constitutional framework.
- Experience in designing and facilitating capacity-building programs.
- Fluency in written and spoken Kannada and English.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
