Their work spans multiple verticals, including equipping adolescents with life skills, empowering young women through leadership programmes, and advocating for policy changes that address systemic gender barriers.

Role

You will serve as a key leader within the organisation, overseeing recruitment, training, and programme implementation across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This role requires managing teams, nurturing partnerships, and ensuring quality standards are met to effectively empower adolescents on the ground.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment drives across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and other states, including tying up with colleges to onboard interns.
  • Plan and conduct training sessions for interns, counsellors, and field coordinators, while providing ongoing feedback.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of programme implementation on the field and ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Write and present proposals to partners, manage existing relationships, and ensure all documentation remains accurate.
  • Lead a team of project officers and associates by providing coaching, mentoring, and troubleshooting support.
  • Identify bottlenecks in project activities and suggest strategies to senior management to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Masters or Graduate degree with 2 to 3 years of experience at the management level.
  • Fluency in English, Telugu, and Hindi is essential. Knowledge of another Indian language is an advantage.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or similar software for back-office work.
  • Willingness to travel throughout India and stay on-site for the duration of programme implementation.
  • Prior experience in managing volunteers or interns is preferred.
  • Passion for gender development and empowering adolescent girls.
