Role

The Project Coordinator will oversee the execution of development programs, coordinating with government agencies, NGOs, and tribal communities. This role requires strong organisational skills and a passion for empowering vulnerable tribal groups through culturally sensitive governance work.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day program implementation and coordinate activities across stakeholders
Organise meetings, trainings, and capacity-building sessions for staff and community members
Liaise closely with the Paharia community to understand their needs and encourage participation
Monitor and evaluate project progress, prepare reports, and recommend improvements
Support data collection, resource management, and documentation of best practices

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in governance-related work, particularly with Gram Sabha
Ability to work effectively with tribal communities, respecting cultural values and traditions
Qualification in MSW, MARD, MBA, Development Studies, or a related field
Proficiency in Hindi and English; knowledge of Paharia/Santhali languages is an advantage
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
